U.S. Department of Energy to Visit Iowa Utility Projects in Danville and Denmark
Danville Municipal Utility and Access Energy Cooperative will host U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Electricity (OE) Chief of Staff David Denton and representatives from the Iowa Economic Development Authority on Thursday, October 8, 2026. The visit will highlight utility and grid resilience projects serving communities in southeast Iowa.
The visit will include project overviews from both utilities, tours of project sites in Danville and Denmark, and opportunities for photos, video and media interviews.
