It is also important to get developmental milestones assessed as early as possible, and to grasp that every child develops differently. Some behaviors and communications might be fine at a certain age but might change down the road. It’s important, she says, to help get kids out of their own way, and to guide them on how to become as successful as their peers.

In coming to the podcast, Tamakio Patterson hopes to tackle ignorance, help people understand diagnoses such as ADHD and Level 2 or 3 Autism, and raise awareness of all that a parent or teacher can do to facilitate processes, and engage the child. Ms. Patterson will clue the host in on the many individual autism therapy services available for kids aged 2-18. They make equipping kids a priority and offer all the support and resources children need to develop and succeed.
